Visiting Yale University

March 29, 2008. Saturday

We visited Yale University on last Saturday. It's a great day - a little chilly (42F) and windy but very sunny. The best of all - there was no traffic going through Bronx.

When we reached the visitor's center we caught an unexpected Engineering Tour. We had to skip lunch but we couldn't care less because we got a very personal tour to see the "inside" of Yale.

For an hour and half later we walked the chilly streets and visited a couple of buildings. It's a great experience. After that we joined the regular tour to see the campus. The girl leading the tour came from Baylor, Texas and majors in history. She can talk!

#1. Inside Becton Engineering Center Environmental Engineering Senior Steve talking to prospective students

#8. Just like a castle

#9. A sample of many very elaborate building details
